Revd Rachel McDougall
Rachel was a music teacher in Tasmania following the completion of a music degree, before moving to Melbourne to study to become a priest. She was ordained Deacon in 1994 and priested in 1995 in Hobart. Rachel has ministered in a variety of parish settings and was a Precentor at St Paul’s Cathedral for five years. Most recently, she was Vicar at St John’s Bentleigh. Rachel enjoys playing viola and piano as well as singing. Rachel is married to the Reverend Dr Ross Fishburn who is the Academic Dean at Yarra Theological Union. They have a ministry cat named Eleanor. Rachel is delighted to come to St Paul’s and be part of a warm, vibrant community which such a strong music tradition.

Nicolani is studying for an undergraduate degree of Engineering and Science at Monash University. She enjoys being a part of the community and working in the office. John is a husband and father of three wonderful girls and now a proud grandfather to three beautiful little boys and two girls. He’s still working part time as a civil engineer. He has been at St Paul’s for about 25 years and he loves the sense of community here.
